Monica P. Pinto
Monica P. (Malaguti) Pinto of Plymouth died peacefully on October 16, in Golden Living Center of Plymouth, after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Pinto. Born in Plymouth, October 9, 1933, a daughter of the late Angelo and Evelyn (Morris) Malaguti, she was educated in Kingston. Monica worked for many years as a teacher's aide with Plymouth schools. She is survived her sons, Joseph A. Pinto Jr. of Florida, Kevin M. Pinto of Plymouth; and her daughter, Catherine A. Cardon and her husband Kim of Carver. She was the mother of the late Barry Pinto and Maureen Pinto. She was the sister of Nora Malaguti of Plymouth; cherished grandmother of 10; and great-grandmother of 6. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 22, at 10 a.m. in St. Marys Church, 313 Court St., North Plymouth. There are no visiting hours. Burial in Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial donations in her name may be made to Alzheimer's Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
