Mildred F. Leese January 27, 1928 - April 14, 2017 Hanover Mildred F. "Millie" Leese, 89, entered into God's eternal care on Good Friday, April 14, 2017 at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Utz Terrace, Hanover. She was the loving wife of Charles F. Leese, Jr. who died July 15, 2002. Born January 27, 1928 in Brodbecks, she was the daughter of the late Robert Snyder and the late Frances V. (Albright) Blouse. Millie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of God's Missionary Church, Hanover, for many years. Mrs. Leese was employed for 28 years with Revonah Spinning Mill and later with Sylvania Shoe and Bittinger's Fozen Foods retiring from Bittinger's in 1993. She was well known for making her wonderful sugar cookies and loved going to big family picnics. Millie is survived by nine children, Linda L. Gray and her husband, Lou of Glen Rock, Margaret E. Brown of Hanover, Rosie E. Feeser and her husband, Ronald of New Oxford, Harold E. Leese, Sr. of Westminster, MD, Judy J. Miller of New Oxford, Thomas David Leese of Hanover, Barbara M. Yelton and her husband, Larry of Westminster, MD, Lori M. Leese of South Dakota and Beverly K. Bange and her husband, Andy of Brodbecks; three siblings, Mariam Bange, Gary and Donald Blouse and his wife, Linda all of Hanover; Millie is also survived my many loving grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Millie was preceded in death by a son Joseph Leese; a grandson, Robbie Miller, and five brothers, Larry, Sr., Richard, Robert, Charles "Junie", and Norman Blouse. A service to celebrate the life of Millie Leese will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at God's Missionary Church, 1285 Hoff Rd., Hanover, PA 17331 with the Rev. John M. Fisher officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday April 19 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, and again on Thursday, one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover.
