Mike Browning Jackson James Michael "Mike" Browning, passed away March 10, 2017, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Mike was born April 28, 1956 in Leland, the son of John William Browning and Millie Carroll Browning Kahler. He was a member of McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church in Pearl. Mike will be remembered for his sense of humor and that he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents and his paternal grandparents, James Herbert Browning and Mildred Fowler Browning Landrum and by his maternal grandparents, James Benjamin and Ether Jones Carroll. Mike is survived by sons, Johnathan, Jason and Jimmy; grandchildren, Lexie, Carter, Wyatt, Jaylee, Zoey, and JJ; sisters, Susan Browning Newton (Tim) and Diane Browning Campbell; brothers, John William Browning, Jr (Jean) and Richard "Rick" Browning (Robin); aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be on Friday, March 17, 2017, 9:00 to 11:00am, with the service immediately following at 11:00am at Baldwin Lee Funeral Home, Pearl. Graveside service will be held at 2:30pm in the Browning Hillcrest Cemetery in Goodman, MS. Services will be officiated by Rev. Vicki Landrum of McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church "Food Pantry" or "Church Benevolence Fund", 325 Mary Ann Drive, Pearl, MS 39208 or to Hospice Ministries, 450 Towne Center Blvd, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
