Michael Anthony De Venio, 24, died suddenly on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Mr. De Venio was a life-long resident of Lyndhurst. He graduated from Paramus Catholic High School in 2010, where he enjoyed playing football. He was in car sales for Nissan of Hawthorne. Mr. De Venio is survived by his beloved father, John De Venio; by his beloved mother, Mary (nee Melofchik) De Venio and stepfather, Nicholas De Gregorio; by his loving brothers and sister, Nicholas R. De Venio, John A. De Venio, Jr. and Marissa De Venio; by his dear grandmother, Mary J. De Venio and the late grandparents, John De Venio, Robert and Mary Melofchik. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Nico, Lila, Mia, Nate and Francis and his girlfriend, Samantha Spagnola. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 9:30 a.m., then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington, where at 11 a.m., a funeral mass will be offered. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours are Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's memory to Susan B.
