Goad, Michael Kevin, Michael Kevin Goad passed away Saturday morning, February 11, 2017 in Louisville, KY. He was born in Louisville on March 31, 1956. He was predeceased by his parents, Griffin E. (Bud) Goad and Patricia Landen Goad; his brother, Griffin L. (Griff) Goad and sister-in-law, JoLynn Goad. He is survived by his sister, Pam and her husband, David Hudson of Tequesta, Florida and his nieces, Morgan and Kendall Hudson (Tequesta); his nephew, Griffin Todd Goad of Birmingham, Alabama; and niece, Whitney and her husband, Chris Staggs and his great-nieces, Sawyer and Scout Staggs and great-nephew, Seth Staggs (Birmingham); Uncle, Robert Landen of Beatrice, Nebraska; Aunts, Korrine Bailey of Centennial, Colorado; Ruthie (Bob) Hartford of Albion, Nebraska; Gretchen and Nancy Landen of Newman Grove, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Mickie Goad (Birmingham). He was a member of the Boaz Masonic Lodge #850 and was a Valley of Louisville Scottish Rite 32 Degree Mason. He was a bus driver for Jefferson Transport. His past work included: L&N Railroad, Corps of Engineers (SCUBA), Redbud Campers, and his own company, Goad Transportation. He was a School Bus Driver for Jefferson County and enjoyed being Mr. Mike to all his kids. Mike was blessed to have so many good friends. Visitation will be at Resthaven on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 11am to 2pm, with a Masonic Service at 2pm. In remembrance of Mike, donations may be made to Boaz Masonic Home #850.
