Maureen Ann Hamilton O'Leary Memphis, TN Maureen Ann Hamilton O'Leary, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2016. Maureen was born July 26, 1925, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Maureen began her career training the first group of Delta Airline stewardesses at McConnell Modeling and Etiquette School, then worked with her husband for forty years in the family business, O'Leary Brokerage. "Mom", as she was lovingly known to her many family members and a host of loyal friends, represented the quintessential Irish spirit in more than her given name and each of her six children. For those fortunate enough to share her company, all holidays were blessed with her delectable recipes and libations, especially her St. Patrick's celebration including corn beef and cabbage. Everyone adored Mom's precious personality from the very young to the old as she played cards, was an avid sports fan, and shared with all a treasure of conversation sprinkled with her hearty laugh. She lived a beautiful life and will be missed by many. Maureen is preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. O'Leary, Sr.; parents, Dexter and Pauline Hamilton; brother, Dexter Hamilton; and her grandsons, Matthew Christopher Wright and Sean Michael O'Leary, Jr. She is survived by her children, Molly Lochbihler (Jim), Michele Lutz (Tom), Skip O'Leary (Theresa), Rick O'Leary (Leslie), Sean O'Leary (Ann), and Megan Baker (Herschel), her seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. A private funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
