WOLDAN Mary Ann (nee Pascovitz), 97, of Bogota passed away at Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains at 9:45 AM on January 10, 2017. Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Richard Woldan(1996). Beloved mother of Barbara Woldan Armstrong and her husband Robert, Richard Woldan and his wife Robin (Mester) and John Woldan and his wife Paula (Cappellini). Loving grandmother of Michael, Robert and Stephen Armstrong, Christine Armstrong-Bast, Amanda (Woldan) Kist, Jason Woldan, Jennifer (Woldan) Goin and Danna Woldan. Also fourteen grandchildren (two deceased) and two great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Frances Biel (predeceased by three sisters and three brothers). Born in Sharpsville, PA on Jan. 5, 1920, she lived in Richmond Valley, Staten Island, NY for 60 years. She liked baking, bowling, playing with her grandchildren, playing bingo, cards and going to Atlantic City. She worked as a waitress for 25 yrs. and was a member of the Friendship Club of Tottenville, Staten Island and the Catholic Daughters of America for 50 years. She volunteered at Richmond Memorial Hospital So. for 25 yrs and the Thrift Store of Tottenville. She was the longest resident of the Home Care Unit of Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains being there for the past 10 yrs. Visitation at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Ave., Bogota on Tuesday from 3-8 PM. All will meet at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9 AM to travel for the Funeral Mass at St. Thomas R.C. Church, Staten Island, NY at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th Fl., New York, NY 1000.
