Mary Lou Robinson, 86, Vandalia Mary Lou Robinson, 86, of Vandalia, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Mother of Dolors Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Zachary Edgar officiating. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at Hohlt and File Funeral Home in Vandalia. Memorials: Mother of Dolors Catholic Church, Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care or Crawford-Hale American Legion Post 95 of Vandalia. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com. Mrs. Robinson was born on Aug. 25, 1931, in Poseyville, Ind., the daughter of Aloysius and Lorine (Baehl) Seibert. She married Ronald Judge Robinson on May 31, 1958. Mary Lou was formerly employed as a registered nurse at Fayette County Hospital. She was a member of Mother of Dolors Catholic Church, Crawford-Hale American Legion Unit 95 Auxiliary in Vandalia, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and National Council of Catholic Women. Mary Lou enjoyed volunteering for Caring & Sharing and Meals and Wheels, and was also a Eucharistic minister at Mother of Dolors. She is survived by her husband; sons, Paul Robinson of Indian Trail, N.C., Brian Robinson and his wife Kathie of St. Louis, Mo., and John Robinson and his wife Alisa of Frisco, Texas; sister, Jeannette Kissel of Haubstadt, Ind.; and grandchildren, Brianna Hales, Annie Robinson, James Robinson, Scott Robinson and Benjamin Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Raymond, Alvin and Joseph Seibert.
