Mary A. Ochsner Mary A. Ochsner, age 79, of Wabasha, MN, formerly of Sioux Falls, SD, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Wabasha. She was born October 6, 1937 in Rochester, the daughter of Dr. Alexander and Angela (Sellen) MacLean. She married Dr. John Ochsner April 22, 1961 at St. John's Catholic Church in Rochester. The family lived in Sioux Falls, SD for 33 years where Dr. Ochsner worked as a urologist in private practice. The couple retired to Wabasha in 1999. Mary was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Holy Spirit Catholic Church, both of Sioux Falls and a current member of St. Felix Catholic Church in Wabasha. She is survived by husband, Dr. John Ochsner, Wabasha, MN; four children and their spouses, Dr. Gregory and Maureen Ochsner, Chester Springs, PA, Molly and Jeffrey Witherell, Newbury Park, CA, Jay and Amy Ochsner, Olathe, KS, Angela and Evelio Soriano, Chicago, IL; twelve grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; sister-in-law, Jeanne Flynn MacLean, Sioux Falls, SD; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Felix Catholic Church in Wabasha. Interment will be in St. Felix Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Abbott Funeral Home in Wabasha on Friday from 4-8pm and at the church on Saturday one hour before the Mass. Memorials are preferred to St. Elizabeth's Community Development Foundation, 1200 5th Grant Blvd. W., Wabasha, MN 55981 or the Wabasha-Kellogg Area Community Foundation, Attn: Pool Passes, PO Box 268, Wabasha, MN 55981.
