Mary E. Nash Born: March 3, 1926; in Harvard, IL Died: October 14, 2016; in Walworth, WI Mary E. Nash, of Walworth, was born March 3, 1926 in Harvard, Illinois to John and Mary (Drews) Krohn. She passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at her home in Walworth. Mary was a very unique lady of many talents. She worked on the family farm with Myrl while raising their 5 girls. Periodically she worked at Cooper's Grocery, Admiral, and Sentry. She and Myrl enjoyed ballroom and square dancing for many years. She was active in Eastern Star as well as the Walworth Homemakers and the Walworth Township Farm Bureau. She made all her girls wedding cakes as well as many wedding cakes for others. She crocheted and knit many beautiful times for family and friends. She was always ready to help anyone in need. Mary is survived by her children, Marcia (Earl) Spealman, Margaret (David) Hagen, Marlene (Bill) Baxter, Muriel (Jack) Taylor, and Melanie (Mick) Schroeder; 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Leona "Dolly" (Don) Luerssen; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 65 years, Myrl Nash, whom she married June 10, 1944 in Walworth. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Toynton's Walworth Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha St. (just east of Rt. 14), Walworth and again Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Walworth from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
