Mary Lou Kuechle, 86 Watkins Dec. 27, 1929 - Oct. 16, 2016 Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Mary Lou Kuechle, 86 of Watkins, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins. Mary Lou passed away on Sunday, October 16, at the Hilltop Care Center in Watkins. Rev Thomas Olson will officiate. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery in St. Nicholas. Family and friends may call from 9:00 until time of services on Wednesday at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins. Mary Lou was born on December 27, 1929 at St. Cloud to John and Clara (Kloeppner) Storkamp. She married Lawrence Kuechle on August 25, 1964 at Sauk Rapids. They farmed north of Watkins and later moved into the city of Watkins. Mary Lou was an RN and worked for Dr. Wittrock in Watkins and at the Assumption Nursing Home in Cold Spring. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins and was a member of the Council of Catholic Women. She was also a member of the Watkins Senior Citizens. Her hobbies included fishing, embroidering and playing cards. Mary Lou is survived by her step-children, Ralph (Arlene) Kuechle of Buhl, Edwin (Marilyn) Kuechle of Watkins, Alquin (Mary) Kuechle of Cold Spring, Joe (Mary) Kuechle of Watkins, Betty (Jim) Donnay of Watkins, Jerome (Trudy) Kuechle of Watkins, David (Pam) Kuechle of Watkins, Donald (Marianna) Kuechle of Richmond, Rose (Jerry) Ruprecht of Watkins, Gary (Debbie) Kuechle of Paynesville, Charles (Joyce) Kuechle of Kimball, Joyce (Wayne) Mueller of Brainerd, Helen (Larry) Krippner of Kimball; 56 step-grandchildren and over 100 step great grandchildren; brother, Harold Storkamp of Sauk Rapids; step-son-in-law, Dan (Barb) Meyer of Watkins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-daughters, Mary Lou Meyer, Lenora Clark; step-son-in-law, Vaughn Clark; step-granddaughter, Anna Marie Kuechle; step-great grandson, Dominick Asfeld; brothers and sister, Milton Storkamp, Ray Storkamp and Rita Kampa Sauer.
