Mary Lee Kisor Mary Lee Kisor, born Mary Lee Gillespie on April 1, 1938, in Indianapolis, IN, and long-time resident of the Olympia area, died Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Providence St. Peter Hospital. Mary Lee worked for the State of Washington for many years in various roles, most recently for the State Patrol where she worked until her retirement. Mary Lee enjoyed camping, sight-seeing and gardening and was active in the Olympia Genealogical Society. She was well-known and loved for the joy she took in taking care of her friends and family. Mary Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel I. and Clara M. Gillespie. She is survived by her husband, Lee Kisor; her daughter, Cindy Roach; son, Gregory Kisor; and daughter, Carrie Wack; thirteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers, David and Jerald Gillespie; and three sisters, Judith Gillespie, Susan Cummings and Sarah Webster. A private memorial service has been planned. In lieu of flowers and in keeping with Mary Lee's generous nature, a contribution to the donor's favorite charity would be appreciated.
