Mary Lou (Mynatt) Harless Corryton, TN Mary Lou Harless, left her earthly home of 87 years, on the wings of angels, to be with her Creator and to be reunited with numerous loved ones. On April 14, 2017, she joined the love of her life, her husband of 69 years, Rev. R.C. Harless. She was also greeted by her beloved parents, Henry Pryor and Sarah Elizabeth (Mize) Mynatt and her "sister" Kathleen (Mize) Julian Zachary. Mary lived her entire life in Corryton, TN on the land her great-grandfather purchased after returning from the War of 1812. She was a friend to all she met, a loving mother and a devoted wife. She served tirelessly beside her husband in the churches he pastored, earning the affectionate nickname "Mizz Preacher" by members. Mary's heart was filled with love, kindness, generosity and humor and she was always ready to cheer on her Vols. Survived by children, Becky (Zane) Graves, Debra (Donnis) Harless, Denise (Gary) Davis, Bill (Cindy) Harless and David (Sharon) Harless. She was "Nanny" to grandchildren, Kelly, Casey, Mitchell, Morgan, Cory, Ben, Christina, Dylan, and Melanie; and great-grandchildren, Katy, Troy, KaLynn, Taylor, Jaxon, Landon, Shayla, and two more due. Mary will be deeply missed by her best friend of 58 years, Judy Martin; brother-in-law, Paul Harless; cousin/phone buddy, Mildred Shelton; numerous nieces/nephews and families; "adopted kid" Gail Cameron; and friends far and near, too many to count. Thank you to Jerry and Jean Baltimore for always being there to help and to the ladies of the Beauty Nook who, for years, gave her a fresh "doo" every Friday. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 18th, at Little Flat Creek Baptist Church, 9132 E. Emory Rd. in Corryton. Visitation begins at 1:00 PM, with the memorial celebration at 3:00 PM, followed by the processional to the graveside for burial, with Rev. Jerry Baltimore and Rev. Damon Patterson officiating.
