January 16, 1944 - October 11, 2016 It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Marv Rosenhaft, born in Brooklyn, NY to Max (deceased) and Ann Rosenhaft. Marv and his family moved to Los Angeles in 1963. After serving in the Army during the Vietnam War, and being lucky enough to get stationed in Oahu, Hawaii, he returned home to L.A. to embark on a career as a marketing executive in the medical insurance industry, having a successful 16 year run with Blue Cross of Southern California. After retirement Marv served on the board of directors at Laguna Woods Village. Marv died as a result of complications from a stroke suffered in September 2015. He was a good man who lived a good life. Survivors include his 96-year-old mother, Ann; his wife of nearly 50 years, Phyllis; his devoted daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Steven Frank; adoring grandchildren Jacob and Allison. He is also survived by his loving sisters Ellen Schlosser (Seymour) and Fran Gitsham and their families, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Burial will take place at Harbor Lawn Cemetery in Costa Mesa on Oct.14.
