Marlo Spadoni, 90, of Old Forge, died Monday, Oct. 3, at the Riverside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Taylor. His wife, Rose Richie Spadoni, died in 1992. Born in Archbald, son of the late Anthony and Della Vecchi Spadoni, he was educated in the Old Forge School District. Marlo was employed in the area garment industry prior to his retirement. In the past, he was a parishioner of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church (Prince of Peace Parish), Old Forge. Surviving are a son, Anthony Spadoni, of Old Forge; a daughter Rose Ann Townend, of Scranton; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Joan Migal and husband Lewis, of Old Forge; and nieces and nephews. Interment was privately held alongside his wife in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton, with committal rites by the Rev. August A. Ricciardi. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the direction of the Victor M. Ferri Funeral Home, Robert J. Gillette, funeral director, 522 Fallon St., Old Forge.
