Marlet W. Loucks September 24, 1920 - October 14, 2016 York Marlet W. Loucks, 96, died at 8:40 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2016 at Pleasant View Retirement Community in Manheim. He was the husband of Vivian Jean (Fasick) Loucks. Born September 24, 1920, in York, he was the son of the late William H. and Joicy May (Gladfelter) Loucks, and was a 19M39 graduate of William Penn High School. Mr. Loucks served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and retired from York Graphic Services where he worked as a graphic make-up artist for 26 years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of York, Victory Athletic Association, South Mount Golf Course, and he enjoyed golfing and crossword puzzles. In addition to his wife of 68 years, Mr. Loucks is survived by a son, Thomas A. Loucks and his wife, Carol of York; a daughter, Marla J. Allen and her husband, Dan of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Kimberly Watt and her husband, Philip, Joanna Reedy and her husband, Alex, and Todd Stouder, and his wife, Liz; and five great-grandchildren, Thomas, Morgan, and Phoebe Watt, and Lillian and Jack Reedy. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen F. Loucks. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery with full military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
