MARJORIE ELIZABETH KRAMER Marge was born on April 20, 1923 in Bristol, VA to Thomas C. and Esme H. Smith and passed on October 4, 2016 to move onto her journey to serve our Lord in Heaven. Marge's wishes were to pass away peacefully in her home which she had built and was completed in 1986 in Meadowview - Temecula, CA., which our good Lord granted. Marge grew up with 2 older brothers, Thomas, Jr., (deceased) whom has 1 living child Ginger, and Joe F., (deceased) whom has 2 living children, Deborah and Tom S. Tommy resides in Iowa and Marge was very close to and fond of him. Marge has a younger brother, William who resides in Michigan and has 2 living children, Randy and Ann. Marge's favorite niece was Carter Witman who resides in Florida. Married to William B. Prater (deceased) on August 2, 1942, they brought forth 6 children: Connie Newland of Costa Mesa, CA, Marge Mosby (deceased), Jane Muse of Albany, CA, Linda Donigian of Israel, Pamela Wall of Temecula, CA and George Prater of San Diego, CA. Marge is survived by her 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, whom she shared an abundance of love for and spent as much time as possible with. After raising 6 children, Marge attended college and received her BA in Nutrition in 1982. Shortly thereafter she moved to Temecula where her daughter, Marge had laid roots down, and on February 25, 1984, together, they opened a very unique and much needed store in Temecula called "Marge's Vitamin and Christian Books." Marge's store was a wonderful Christian outreach to her community in which customers would come in to feed their body, mind and spirit. Her store was a blessing in so many ways as both mother, daughter and employees made it a point to share their love for God and made a difference to as many people's lives as possible. Marge retired and closed her store in December 2001. Marge and her daughter Marge were 2 of 5 founders of New Covenant Fellowship Church founded in 1984 in Temecula, which is now called The Bridge Church in Murrieta, CA. In April 1987, Marge married a wonderful Christian man, Robert E. Kramer (deceased) and they shared 17 wonderful years together. After hearing of the loss of Marge, a friend who felt a calling to follow her grandfather's footsteps of being a minister wrote a dedication for Grandma Marge. A small part of it read as follows: If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it. Happy moments, praise God. Difficult moments, seek God. Quiet moments, worship God. Painful moments, trust God. And in every moment, thank God! As Pastor Gary Martin of The Bridge Church stated at Marge's funeral service on October 7, 2016, Marge is a legend and will never be forgotten. We are comforted and certain to know that Mom, our family matriarch, is now serving the Lord and watching over us with her wings spread throughout Heaven. Marge was laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery.
