Sister Marion Farrell Loving mother and Sister of Charity of St. Elizabeth Sister Marion Farrell, 74, a Sister of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, died on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at The Villa at Florham Park, N.J. The wake for Sister Marion Farrell will be held at The Villa at Florham Park on Tuesday, April 18, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow the Liturgy in Holy Family Cemetery in Convent Station, N.J. Sister Marion was born in Hackensack, N.J., the daughter of William and Marion (Weisberger) Farrell. She entered the Sisters of Charity on Aug. 18, 1997, and was a member for 19 years. Sister Marion graduated from Clara Maass School of Nursing in Belleville, N.J., with an R.N. in nursing. She served in the health ministry in New Jersey and New York. Sister Marion also served as a social worker in Fox House, New York, N.Y. She was an administrator at St. Francis Residence in Paterson, N.J., and an administrator in training at Preakness Healthcare Center in Wayne. She was director of Health and Wellness at St. Joseph Rest Home in Paterson, and director of Social Services at Lincoln Hill Village in West Milford, N.J. Before her illness, Sister Marion served as administrator of St. Anne Villa in Convent Station, N.J. Sister Marion entered the religious life later in life and is survived by the Sisters of Charity; her daughter, Shannon (Farrell) Tremel (Charles); sons, John Farrell and Christopher Farrell (Joette), and her grandchildren, Jessica and Charlie Tremel, and Brielle and Lauren Farrell.
