Marilyn A. Gould
Marilyn A. Gould, age 95, of East Bridgewater, died Saturday, April 15, at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was the loving mother of William L. Gould and his wife Cathleen of Plymouth, Ellin L. Tong and her husband Richard of Plymouth, and Jeffrey E. Gould and his wife Angkana of Bridgewater. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Scott Gould, Kelley DePasqua, Stacey Quackenbush, James DePasqua, Ryan Gould, Jenny Gould, and Kattaleya Gould, as well as her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Emily, Abigail, McKenna, Griffin, Samantha, Brady, Brennan, Victoria, and Joshua. Marilyn was born in Plymouth, Mass. on July 6, 1921, daughter of the late William and Elsie (Barke) Gilman. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School class of 1939, and the Hickox Secretarial School in Boston. She then went on to work for the Plymouth Cordage Company during WWII, and then raised her three children before retiring from the Plymouth Home National Bank in East Bridgewater. Marilyn was an avid reader, and loved knitting. There was nothing she loved more than her family. She was a very kind and gentle woman, and will be greatly missed.
