ADRIAN - Marilyn Jean Easter, age 91, of Adrian passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Hospice of Lenawee Home. She was born Sept. 22, 1925, in Adrian, to the late Glenn and Marian (Hazzard) Suydam. On Jan. 19, 1962, she married Raymond Easter in Adrian, and he survives. Marilyn worked in the housekeeping department at Bixby Hospital for 31 years. She was a member of the Adrian Church of Christ and was active in the Women's Benefit Organization. Marilyn loved to dance, camp, roller skate and bike ride with Raymond. She returned to high school, graduating from Adrian High School in 2002 along with a couple of her grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 54 years, Raymond, she is survived by her children, Susan (Curtis, Jr.) Green of Adrian, Norman "Butch" (Rosetta) Fields of Emporia, Kan.; Carolyn (David) Wilson of Adrian and Roselyn (Carl, Jr.) Yoder of Adrian; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Vivian Ann Wilson; and a son, Larry Fields. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at Wagley Funeral Home with JR Waters officiating. Burial will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Adrian Church of Christ or the American Cancer Society.
