Margie Neihart Margie May Neihart, 88, passed away on January 9, 2017, in Milwaukie, Oregon. She was born on July 4, 1928, in Salt Lake City to Hugh and Blanche Johnstun Willson. Margie married Larry Neihart on February 5, 1953 and they began a life of adventure. They lived in Arizona, Utah, and Montana before settling in the Pocatello area. Margie was the proud mother of three sons: Richard, Jeffrey, and Donald. She was the devoted caregiver of her special needs baby, Donald, for 35 years. Margie taught her sons to cook, clean, sew, and iron, making sure they could take care of themselves. As adults, the boys would tease their mother, saying it was "because she had no girls to teach!" Margie was a faithful member of Christ Church in Pocatello. She loved God, her church, and her pastors. Margie is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Janice) Neihart; four granddaughters, Carrie (Dustin) Knaebel, Valen Neihart, Sarah (KC) Schwartzkoph, and Bethany (Ferdinand) Hunter; three great-grandchildren, Katie Hunter, Ava and Flynn Schwartzkoph. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 16, at 11 am in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, where family will receive friends one hour prior.
