Margaret Taylor Millville, N.J. Ms. Margaret Taylor, 64, of Millville, NJ passed away quietly at home on Monday October 10, 2016. Margaret was born in Bridgeton and was a lifelong Millville city resident. She was the daughter of the late Ruth E. (Nelson) & Charles E. Taylor, Sr. She was also predeceased by her brother John W. "JT" Taylor. Margaret Taylor loved people. She loved her brothers Charles, John, Thomas and Randy their spouses, Marie, Barb and Suzie. She loved her nephew Mark and her nieces Katelyn and Kristin. She adored her great nieces, Victoria, Violet and Lily and also Amy and Nick Barrell. She loved and respected her parents Ruth and Charles. Margaret loved her church family, her colleagues at the hospital, her extended family and friends. Her greatest love though, was the love for the Lord, Jesus Christ. Margaret served 25 years as a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrics Nurse at Bridgeton Hospital and Newcomb Hospital in Vineland, NJ. She gave her all to her profession and her patients. Nursing was her job, but it was more her passion. Margaret was a member of the West Side United Methodist Church in her youth. She became a member of the First United Methodist Church in the late 1970's. She was an active member serving on many committees, a member of the Chancel Choir, a member and President of the Friendship Circle of the United Methodist Women. Margaret served as a Sunday School teacher, a Vacation Bible School Teacher, was Head of the Evangelism Committee that started the Annual Neighborhood Fun Fair in coordination with Silver Run School. Her greatest love was serving as a Nurse for the Shine Ministries camp as well as a counsellor and a mentor for the children and youth. She was a part of this valuable ministry from its inception until last Thursday when she went to work with students even when she was feeling ill. Margaret truly loved each and every child in this program and the kids loved her. Margaret attended Asbury College in Kentucky where she received her BS degree in Science. She then received her RN certification from Methodist in Philadelphia. She used all of her skills and knowledge to help and heal children and adults her entire life. Margaret always wanted to help and heal others. Her last days on earth were spent with her beloved Shine Children. Margaret was loved by her family, her church family, her friends and colleagues. She will truly be missed. Margaret is survived by her brothers; Charles E. Taylor, Jr. & wife Marie, Thomas D. Taylor & wife Barbara, Randolph S. Taylor & wife Suzie. Nieces & Nephews; Mark P & Brandy Taylor & Victoria, Kristin M. Taylor, Katelyn Taylor, Amy, Nick, Violet & Lilly Barrell as well as the many children she had befriended through the Shine Ministry. Relatives & friends will be received on Monday October 17 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 201 N. 2nd St., Millville, NJ where her funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the Haleyville U.M. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Shine Ministry or Joanne Reger Scholarship Fund, P.O.
