Margaret M. Lipnichan
Margaret M. Lipnichan, 91, of Butler passed away Wednesday at ACMH Hospital in Kittanning. Born Aug. 28, 1925, in McKees Rocks, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Stephen A. and Theresa M. Matis Lipnichan. She was the executive and personal secretary to the president and CEO of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. She was employed there from 1947 until her retirement in 1983. Margaret moved to Butler in November 2006 from the North Hills of Pittsburgh. She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Croatia (Yugoslavia). She also enjoyed reading, solving crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and crafting. Surviving are her brother, Richard (Joyce) Lipnichan of Bruin, Pa.; her sister, Josephine Chilcott of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. LIPNICHAN - Funeral arrangements for Margaret M.
