EVANS Margaret Boll, 92, the world became more beautiful on August 16, 1924 with her birth and a sadder place with her passing October 15, 2016. She grew up in Louisville, KY and was a member of the 1942 class of Louisville Girls High School. On June 7, 1945 she married the love her life, Paul W. Evans of Lynch, KY. After the war he attended U of L Dental School. Upon his graduation in 1948 they moved to Ashland, KY where he practiced dentistry until 1995. In Ashland, Margaret was involved with Friends of the Children charitable organization and was President of the Eastern Kentucky Dental Auxiliary. The Evans family are members of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Ashland, KY. After moving to Lexington, KY in 1995 they attended Central Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Margarette Moody Blanar and is survived by her love of 71 years, Paul W. Evans. Her daughters, Sally Evans Fensterer (Tom) of Louisville and Ann Evans Penney (Jim) of Georgetown and her adored grandchildren; Evan Byron Smith, Claire Bradford Smith and Alec James Fensterer. She died as she had lived. with the beauty, grace and elegance of a true Southern Lady surrounded by her loving family. Lastly, memorial donations are suggested to First Christian Church, DOC, Ashland, KY, Friends of the Children, Ashland, KY, or Central Christian Church, DOC, Lexington, KY. A celebration of her life will be Sunday October 30, 2016 from 1-4pm at The Woodlands 111 Woodland Ave. Lexington, KY.
