ALBANESE, Madeline Ann (Collura) Of Newton Massachusetts died March 14, 2017 unexpectedly surrounded by her loving family, at the Brigham and Woman's Hospital in Boston. Madeline was born on November 24, 1939 in Waltham Massachusetts to the late John and Ann Collura. She was predeceased by her Husband of 34 years, Charles Carmelo Albanese, and her sister Sarafina Generoso. She is survived by daughter Rosanne Trolan and her husband Wallace, son Joseph, daughter in law Maria, daughter Theresa Leon and her husband Robert, daughter Catherine Albanese-Gabbett and her husband Kevin, son Charles and his wife Jennifer. She leaves her grandchildren, Madeline and Kyle Trolan, Joseph, Emily, and Rachel Albanese, Brandon and Tyler Wasson, Mikaela and Christopher Shelby, and Nicole and Peter Albanese, her sisters, brothers and their spouses, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. A graduate of Waltham High School, she attended the Dale Carnegie Institute and worked for many years in the hospitality industry. A consummate hostess, she loved to cook and entertain and was known by so many for her vivacious energy and delicious cuisine. Madeline was a past member of the Auburndale Club and Woodland Golf Club in Newton MA, and was an active member of the Quail Ridge Country Club community in Boynton Beach, Florida. She loved golf, canasta, and spending time with her extended family and close friends. Madeline was a devout Catholic, committed to her faith. She was a Eucharistic Minister at Corpus Christi Parish in Newton and at the Elizabeth Seton Home in Wellesley. Funeral from the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St. (Rte. 16), West Newton, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bernard's Church, West Newton at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday evening from 4:00 - 8:00 PM . internment following at the Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
