In memory of
Lynda Adams October 31, 1959 - October 10, 2016 Lynda was born in Modesto and was the daughter of JoAnn and Jim Adams. She grew up in a loving home with her brother, Guy. She attended Fremont Elementary and Roosevelt Jr. High in Modesto and graduated high school in Houston, Texas. She became a Dallas Cowboys fan while living in Texas! She went on to finish her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees at the University of Phoenix. Lynda held positions with the County of Stanislaus and City of Modesto. She treasured the final days of her career as Safety Coordinator with the Stanislaus County Office of Education. Lynda fought a valiant and courageous battle against a variety of debilitating health conditions. Lynda struggled but she never quit. She enjoyed playing golf and softball, traveling with her best friend, Bonnie, and spending time with family. We will remember Lynda as a giving, loving, and self-sacrificing daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and colleague. Her generosity and desire to bring joy to those she loved and valued as friends left an indelible imprint on countless individuals and she will be dearly missed. Lynda is survived by her mother JoAnn, her father Jim, her brother Guy and wife, Shelly, and her beloved nieces Brooke and Claire. A memorial service in remembrance of Lynda's life will be held at the North Modesto Church of God, 1918 Sherwood Ave., in Modesto on Saturday, October 22nd at 11AM.
