In memory of
Lyla J. Zybach passed away on October 6th at the age of 95 while living at her daughter Loni's home in Brownsville, OR. She was born October 9th, 1920 to the late Frank and Isola Morris in Glendora, CA. She was the 4th of 8 children. She moved to Vernonia, OR as a teenager and in 1941 married Glenn McDonald, they had one daughter. He died in a logging accident. She married Joseph Zybach in 1946 and had three more children. They were married 55 years and lived their married life in Springfield, OR. She was a licensed beautician and a head cook for the Springfield School District for 20 years. She loved to read, sew, bake, garden and spend time with her family. Lyla is survived by her daughters, Loni George (Brad) and Rose Mcleod (Bob) and her son Jerry Zybach (Demetra), 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Frances McCormack and grandson Joshua Haworth, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She will be remembered as a caring and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. We loved her and will miss her. Per her request there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held in the spring. The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the wonderful care given by Signature Hospice.
