Hill, Lucina "Mary" Lucina "Mary" Hill passed away peacefully at her home in Whitney Point, N.Y. on April 12, 2017.Mary was predeceased by her husband Ellwyn "Pete" Hill. She was also predeceased by her infant daughter Tammy Lynn, her parents Myron and Luella Higgins, her sister Mae Fritts, her two brothers Mason Hamilton and June Hamilton, and her niece, Jane Sessions.Mary is survived by her three sons, Thomas Addley, Douglas Hill, and Michael (Andrea) Hill, as well as her six step children, Carrie (Archie) Church, Dorothy (Paul) Crandall, Martha King (Clyde Smith), Kate (Dave) DeBlock, Jim (Helen) Hill, and Patricia (Terry) Quinn. She is also survived by hergrandchildren, Morgan Hill (Michael Gardner), Alex Hill, Lance (Peggy) Lewis, Patrick Hill(Tiffany Madden), Tim Decker (Krystal Dillow) , Missy Cherry, Todd (Sheena) Decker, and James Decker, a very dear nephew, John Wirth, niece, Debbie Fritts Boice , as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear Friends.Mary was born March 21, 1943, in Hunts Corners, N.Y. She was a proud and active member of the Rebekah Lodge for over 50 years, where she held many positions and made lifelong friends. She loved to play cards and dominos with her family, and could silently and humbly win at most! She also enjoyed Wii bowling at the Whitney Point senior center. Mary was a hard worker at many factories in the Cortland and Binghamton areas, but in her final working years she was employed by Broome County as a nurse's aide at Chenango Bridge Nursing Home and Willow Point Nursing Home. She spent most of her retirement years sharing her home and providing for many elderly family members and friends. She was a true caregiver. The family will receive friends at Sunset Memorial Services 2659 Main St. Whitney Point Monday April 17, 2017 from 12:00 noon until service time at 1 pm.
