LUCILLE "HONEY" ANN NORMAN 1927 - 2017 NORWICH- Lucille (Honey) Ann Norman (Wildowsky) died on January 8, 2017 and was married to Stuart Roode Norman Sr. for over 50 years. The daughter of the late Stanley and Doris Wildowsky of Lisbon, Honey was born on October 3, 1927. She grew up on Scotland Road and first worked on her parents' farm then in the Baltics Mills. Honey worked alongside her husband in their business, Norman's Farm Supply while raising their 4 children. She also delivered milk on occasion for Wildowsky Dairy in Lisbon when her parents needed an extra hand. Later she worked at Polinsky's Egg Farm and Walmart. She belonged to the First Congregational Church in Pachaug and the Griswold Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary. She always volunteered at the chicken barbecues where she made the potato salad for many years. During her life, family was always her first priority and she gave them her love consistently and constantly. Her second love was her boxer dogs. Honey is survived by her children, Stuart Norman, Jr. of Griswold, Prudence Norman of Griswold, Diane Sylvestri of Voluntown, Adelbert Norman of Rhode Island and Rebecca (Rebel) Geer-Lamboy of North Stonington who was considered part of the family and her youngest daughter. She is also survived by her sisters: Grace Haskell of Taftville, Jacqueline Cole of Griswold, and Doris Bitgood of Lisbon; her two brothers, Stanley (Sonny) Wildowsky of Lisbon and David Wildowsky of Canterbury, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Prudence Pendleton of Lisbon. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church of Griswold on Saturday, January 14th at 10:30 am. There will be no calling hours and burial is private.
