Louise Rosalie Centanni Vignes, an angel sent from heaven on September 14, 1925, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 into the arms of God at the age of 91 with her loving daughter by her side. She was affectionately referred to as ""Big Red"" due to her beautiful red hair, infectious smile and larger than life personality. A native New Orleanian, she resided in Mid-City where she owned and operated Louise's Beauty Salon. An alumni of Sacred Heart of Jesus High School and former parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church where she was past president of the Sodality of Our Lady.
