TOMLIN, Lorndell Ewing (Lorna) went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 5, 2017 after a short illness. Lorna was born January 19, 1941 in Electra, Texas to Vondell & Lorn Thell Ewing. She was raised in Odessa, TX & graduated from Snyder High School in 1960. She attended Western Texas College & McLennan Junior College. Lorna lived in Snyder until the 1970's when she moved to Dallas, TX & worked until she retired from H. J. Gruy Petroleum Associates as an Executive Assistant. Lorna married Larry Tomlin on May 28th, 1983 & they moved to San Angelo, TX. Lorna was a caring daughter & took care of her Father & his wife until their deaths. When Larry retired, they bought their dream home on Lake Palestine in Frankston, TX. Lorna was a loving Mother, Grand-mother & Great Grandmother. She was an avid reader, terrific at work-ing cross word puzzles, a talented singer & loved to dance & make people laugh with her jokes. Lorna had a large heart when it came to all animals & loved her fur babies. Lorna is survived by her husband Larry Tomlin & by children: Victor & Melissa Valentine, Mike & Tammy Valentine, Marc & Angela Valentine, Lanny Tomlin, Lisa Cox, & Lori Burks. Grandchildren: Kyle, Sydne, Miller, Miles, Merik, Zachry & Lauren Valentine & Evan Cox & Great Grandchildren, Everett & Everly Valentine & Emma Grace Valentine: Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Emmadell & Wallace Vernon, Leta & Joe Parker, Beth Zanardi & Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law Janis & Carter Calongne & many loving nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Vondell King & Lorn Thell Ewing and one daughter Merdell. A Memorial Service in honor of Lorna Tomlin will be held on March 17, 2017 at Lakeside Baptist Church in Canton, TX at 11:00 a.m. Flowers & plants are welcome, or in lieu of flowers, three of her favorite charities are ASPCA, St Jude Children's Hospital and Wounded Warriors.
