Loretta Cirincione, 82 Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Loretta Cirincione, 82, passed away peacefully on Oct. 14, 2016, at home after a short illness. Born Loretta Aleski, she was raised in Stapleton. She married her husband, the late Joseph Cirincione, in 1956 and they settled in West Brighton. She was the dedicated mother to Denise Lanahan, Deborah Giudice and the late Frank Cirincione; loving grandmother to Jennifer, Christina, Joseph, Gianna, and Anthony, and great-grandmother to Jayden and Jullian. Loretta worked as a nursing assistant for 22 years at St. Vincent's Medical Center, retiring in 1990. An avid quilter, she would hand-sew baby quilts for family and friends and would often donate many of her creations to charities and hospitals in the community of Freehold, N.J., where she was a resident for the past 20 years. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, N.J. 08857. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
