Lora Jean Franks, 57, of Bobtown, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., following an extended illness. Born August 22, 1959, in Waynesburg, a beloved daughter of James and Alma Stout Franks of Bobtown. She attended Bobtown United Methodist Church and was a 1978 graduate of Mapletown High School. Miss Franks was trained and worked as a kitchen designer in Arizona. After returning to Greene County, she worked at Vance's Auto in Mt. Morris. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are two sons and their spouses, Timothy and Nikki Pratt of Calloway, W.Va., and Nick and Heather Pratt of Carmichaels; grandchildren Zach, Tyler, Timmy Jr., Alex, Lora, Nikki, Attia and Robert; a sister, Lisa Garrison and husband David of Bobtown; a niece, Holli Garrison of Salem, W.Va.; and several cousins and other relatives. Deceased is a niece, Heidi Garrison. Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m., the time of service, Friday, February 17, in Bobtown United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ed Hanley officiating.
