LONI CIRRITO She suffered from cancer and on August 15, 2016 she passed away at her home at age 91. She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Joseph Cirrito Lt. Col., USAF (Ret.). A grieving void is left in the hearts of her loving daughter Sylvia Marseglia; grandsons Aaron and Brian; her sister Ilse, and her beloved extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was a venerable wife, mother and grandmother who enriched their lives by sharing her optimistic view of life's joys and challenges. She will be remembered for her considerate personality, humility and loving spirit. Her hopes, promises and benevolence will live on forever through the hearts she has touched. Now, only beautiful memories will sustain us through the loneliness of her absence. She is now beyond the pain and trauma of life's fearful shadows both dark and still. She is at peace in her Eternal Home in the loving embrace of God's merciful will. Services at Ft. Myer Memorial Chapel and interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held October 19, 2016 at 12:45 p.m.
