Linda M. (Dunn) Tudor
Linda Tudor, 66 years of age of Brinnon, passed away on December 14, 2016. She was born Linda Marie Dunn in Vancouver, Washington, on May 8, 1950, to Lois O. Dunn and Warren K. Dunn. Linda graduated from Hudson Bay High School in Vancouver, Washington, with honors. Linda spent several years living in Seattle, Washington, after high school. She came to Brinnon to house-sit for friends. Linda found she loved the area, the people living in Brinnon and the surrounding area so much that she would remain in Brinnon permanently. She worked for the Brinnon General Store, Johnson Realty and soon purchased Settlers Real Estate, which she ran until she closed the office in early 2016. Most recently, Linda worked for Van Dorm Realty Inc. in Olympia. Linda cared what happened in Brinnon. She sat on several boards to make a difference for her community. Linda loved Brinnon and all her kind and loving friends. Linda loved to play her flute while relaxing in the evenings - when she wasn't hiking the local paths taking pictures of animals, scenery and the beautiful flowers on the Hood Canal. Nothing excited her more than enjoying the local foods that she could gather here; shrimp, clams, oysters and mushrooms were soon to be a delightful dinner experience. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Warren K. Dunn; mother Lois O. Short; and brother Frank M. Dunn. Linda is survived by her siblings, Lee Dunn, Janice Vance, Teresa Jackson and Glenn Dunn; and her much-loved stepson, John Tudor IV. A memorial service will be held at Brinnon Community Church, 52 Church Drive, Brinnon (360-796-4462), on Saturday, February 18, at 2 p.m. Pastor Dan Kennedy will present the memorial, and friends and family can share their memories of Linda. Refreshments will follow in the church reception area.
