Lillian Chiapellone 1931-2016 Lillian Chiapellone passed away peacefully September 30, 2016 at the age of 85. Born in San Francisco to Ernesto and Angelita Lagomarsino, Lillian graduated from Lowell High School and Lone Mountain College for Women with a Bachelor Degree in Latin. Upon receiving her teaching credential, Lillian taught elementary school for San Francisco Public Schools. Having met and married the love of her life, Chuck Chiapellone in 1952, they moved from San Francisco to San Rafael in 1958 and raised five children. A stay at home mom, Lillian joined her husband in the 1970's in starting Creative Catering. While active in the catering business, she began working for St. Vincent's School for Boys managing their kitchens. There she met many life-long friends and together with her extended family, enjoyed years of family get-togethers, Sunday family dinners and backyard BBQ's. An avid reader, Lillian also enjoyed playing bridge and gardening. Spring was her favorite time of year with daffodils, her favorite flower, coming into bloom. Lillian is survived by her twin sister, Josephine and her younger sister, Laura and her five children, Patricia, Kathie, Chuck, Stephen and John and eight grandchildren with her husband having passed away four years ago. Lillian's family is grateful to those that brightened her final years. A Celebration of Lillian's Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent's School for Boys, San Rafael.
