PITTSTON TWP. — Letizzia Marie (Spiccioli) Colarusso, 102, of Pittston Township, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital. Born Jan. 11, 1915, in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Marinangeli) Spiccioli. Surviving are her daughters, Eleanor Magowan and Bernadine Coopey, of Pittston Township; granddaughters, Carolyn and husband, Anthony Worrall, of Palmyra, Tina Magowan, of Exeter, and Lori Magowan, of Philadelphia; grandson, Billy and wife, Melissa Coopey, of Harding; great-grandchildren, Alexa, Lucas and Lacey Worrall and William Coopey; sister-in-law, Maryann Hurtt, of Yatesville. In addition to her parents, Theda was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Colarusso; son in-laws, Wilfred Coopey and Michael Magowan; brother, Louis Spiccioli; sisters, Inez Amico and Eleanor Zambetti. Funeral services are in the care of Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Township. Viewing hours will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 21, at the funeral home. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Those who plan on attending are asked to be at the funeral home no later than 8:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Marello Parish, William Street, Pittston. Interment services will be private and held at the family's convenience. Theda will be laid to rest with her husband in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
