Lester Ray "Snook" Geason, Sr. was born February 1, 1935 to the late Elizabeth Melancon Geason and Willie Geason, Sr. in New Orleans. He departed his life on January 11, 2017 at 6:09 AM at his residence in Modeste. He leaves to cherish his memories, 3 daughters; Mary Ann (Ken) Himes, Carol (Carl) Bell, and Constance (Micheal) Holmes, 5 sons; Floyd (Mary Ann), Lloyd, Frederick (Jacqueline), Lester, Jr., and Kim (Kimberly) Geason, 2 sisters; Reona (Louis) Tilman and Ethel (Paul) Julien, 2 sisters-in-law; Chris Cantrelle and Dorothy Mae Jones, 25 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephew and friends. Visiting 5-7 PM, Friday, January 13, 2017 at St. Philip Baptist Church, 7471 Highway 405, Donaldsonville. Visitation continues 9 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2017 until religious services at 11 AM, conducted by Rev. Roland Julien, Pastor. Interment in the church cemetery.
