Leslie "Les" H. Rose
ANGELICA - Mr. Leslie "Les" H. Rose, 59, passed on after a brief illness due to his battle with cancer on Tuesday (Oct. 11, 2016) in Angelica. Les was born on May 13, 1957, in Rantoul, Ill., to Emmett and Mildred (Bedient) Rose, both of Angelica. He graduated from Angelica Central School in 1975. He was a lifelong resident of Angelica. Les was devoted to his family. He was a roofer, construction worker and mechanic by trade. His hobbies included drawing, reading, woodworking and auto repair. He most recently spent time helping Chris Hoffman at his garage, Hoffman Repair, until he no longer could due to his illness. Les is survived by his daughters Christell (Lenny) Kalkbrenner of Wellsville, Jenny (Brett) Rose-Hadsell of Angelica and Tabetha Rose of Geneva; several grandchildren Joel, Dustin, Briana, Nate, Kiana, Brett Jr., Kylee, Zach, Mitzi, Jackson, Katlynn, Toryn, Zeddalyn and Xylon; great-grandchildren Taten and Joshua; brothers Myron Rose and Dwayne (Connie) Rose, both of Angelica; sisters Lucinda (Mike) Lorrow and Melanie Davis, both of Angelica; the mother of his beautiful, awesome daughters Darlene (John) Russell of Alfred Station; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends. He is preceded in death by his father and mother; a brother-in-law, David Davis of Angelica; a son-in-law, Larry Hadsell of Belmont; and a grandson, Damien Hadsell of Weedville, Pa.
