Born July 20, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio, Leonard passed away suddenly on February 5, 2017 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Alabama. He was a loving husband and caring father. Leonard attended Kentucky Military Institute, where he learned respect, honor, and character. He spent most of his career with Euclid Trucks, dedicated to the company and his colleagues. Mechanically minded, pragmatic and clever – willing to lend a hand or a piece of his wisdom whenever needed. Even-tempered and private, but fiercely devoted to family and friends. He was quick with his sly humor and his presence was larger than his physical being. He loved the outdoors and his many English Setters. He is deeply missed. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jurate "Judy" Theresa Prusnick (née Grazulis), sister Maria Parisen (née Prusnick), mother-in-law Albina Grazulis (née Andrusaitis), children John August and his partner Donald Nelson, Valerie Marie (Robert) Clinger, Leonard Joseph and his fiancée Heather White, Timothy Michael (Mary Kay), and grandchildren Timothy August, Maeve Elizabeth Margaret, Matilda Alice, Mary "Molly" Emmaline, Kaitlyn Alixendra Clinger, Robert William Clinger III, Mitchell Leonard, and Cameron Alisa. He was preceded in death by father August "Red" John Prusnick, mother Alice Mae Prusnick (née Kastelic), father-in-law Joseph Grazulis, and brother-in-law Jonathan David Parisen. Donations in his memory may be made to "Our English Setter Rescue" or "Diabetes Research Institute Foundation."
