Leland Donzel "Don" Romine was an entrepreneur and jack of all trades specialized in working on cars and machining, "Don" feared nothing and taught everyone he met that anything is possible and you're never too old. Unfortunately, on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at the age of 87, Don passed away before he could fulfill his next dream of becoming Donald Trump's Secret Service. Left behind to carry on his legacy are: his children, endearingly referred to as "Big Dummies," Amberle (Philip) Jenkins; Denalea (Ray) Cobb; David Wayne Romine; Carolyn (Rick) Weaver; Christina Romine; and Belinda Dawn (Larry) Bockrath; a sister Garnetta Marlene Trivandian; 10 grandkids lovingly referred to as "Big Shorties" and 12 great-grandkids lovingly referred to as "little shorties" and "wee little shorties." He is now joking and having adventures in heaven with his beautiful wife, Martha Jean Mayberry Romine; his mother Ulcie "Ada" Mick Romine; his father Ray Depoy Romine; his brothers Reland Ray Romine and Deland Junior Romine; his second wife Nancy L. Zumbrogle; and five grandkids. He was living proof that life is an adventure and you should always have a story to tell. Friends will be received from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mount Lebanon Church Cemetery in Buckhannon, W.Va. Online condolences may be made to the family at Polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
