Zeleski, Lawrence P. Lawrence P. Zeleski Of Plover died passed away peacefully Monday evening October 17, 2016 at Theta Care Hospital in Appleton. Age 84 Lawrence was born October 27, 1931 in Oconto, WI. He was the son of the late Clements and Genevieve (Kotekci) Zeleski. He attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1948. He entered the United States Army on November 13, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI. He served as a Pvt. 1st Class with the 8th Army Comp. B. Larry received the Korean Service Ribbon with 1 Bronze Service Star, United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged on October 26, 1954 at Fort Sheridan, IL. Larry married Joan Freeman and the couple were married for 17 years and later divorced. He then married Sharon Millenbah on August 1, 1991 in Stevens Point. The couple later settled in Plover. His wife Sharon survives. Larry worked for Pre-Way Inc. in Wisconsin Rapids for many years retiring in 1988. He enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling, camping and motorcycling. He also loved old time country music, church picnics and listening to polka music. Larry was also known to try his luck at the casinos. In Lieu of flowers contributions in his name to St. Bronislava Catholic Church would be appreciated. Survivors include his wife Sharon, two daughters; Rhonda Friday of Milwaukee and Paula Gainer of Colorado. Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, five brothers and his mother in law Dorothy Millenbah. Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday October 22, 2016 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2911 Plover Road, Plover. Burial to follow with full military rites in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the Pisarski Funeral Home until the time for services. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
