In memory of
Laura Jean (Outlaw) Clayton
Laura Jean Outlaw Clayton, 60, of Erie, went to sleep in death, following a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, January 7, 2017. She was born in Erie, on October 25, 1956, a daughter of the late David E. and Ruth L. Hixson Outlaw. Laura graduated from McDowell High School and worked for 11 years at First National Bank. Laura was dedicated as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a very loving and caring wife and mother who cared for people of all types, and showed that by volunteering in helping many people. She loved all of God's creatures and creations. Laura was a joyful and happy person who loved the Almighty God, whose name is Jehovah, and Jesus Christ, His Son. She lived her life using Jesus as an example and we look forward to seeing her again in the Resurrection as Jesus taught. She is survived by her husband, Jamie Clayton and three sons, James Clayton of Erie, Justin Clayton and his wife, Nicole of Erie, and Joel Clayton and his wife, Tabitha, of Cleveland, Ohio.
