LARRY CURTIS TYNDALL LUMBERTON — Larry Curtis Tyndall, 74, of Lumberton, N.C., died on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville, N.C. He was born in Robeson County, N.C,. on Sept. 5, 1942, to the late William Ralph Tyndall and the late Kathleen Pate Tyndall. He was a 10-year veteran of the United States Navy. He retired after 37 years for Duke Energy as a senior analyst. He is preceded in death by his parents,; and a brother, Ronald Wayne Tyndall. Mr. Tyndall is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra B. Tyndall of the home; a daughter, Chanda Tyndall Clark (Todd) of Greensboro; a brother, Billy Ray Tyndall (Edith) of Lumberton; sisters, Ammie Culbreth (Dan) of Lumberton and Shirley De Martino (John) of Nakina; and two grandsons, Larry Lucas Clark and Nathan Henry Clark. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Floyd Memorial Chapel with the Revs. David Hawes and Don Carlyle officiating. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton. A time of visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. Flowers are welcome.
