Jones, Larry Dean, 57, on October 17, 2016 left the arms of his one true love, his wife, Dee Dee as God called him to heaven to be reunited with his parents, Raymond E. and Wilma Jean. Larry was loved by so many because he was wonderfully caring, loving and giving person. He could always make someone smile or laugh. After many years in the body shop and auto salvage business, he joined the team at Gilbert & Mitchell Auto Salvage, where he found a family and has remained for the last 12 years. He was a lifelong NASCAR fan following the career of Jeff Gordon since Jeff's days in carts. He loved taking off for long rides on his Harley with Dee Dee and several friends. He was a true Christian man with his loving, giving manner. He was always helping someone out and expecting nothing in return. Larry left to cherish the memories of their life together, his true love and best friend, wife, Dee Dee. He will also be missed by his son, Bradley Jones; stepson whom he loved as his own, Mickey Pennington and the two beacons of light in his world, grandsons, Caleb and Caron Pennington. He also leaves to cherish his memory, sister, Joanna(Ron)Kennedy; brothers, Alan(Jeanette) Jones and Glen(Sharon) Jones and many many friends. The family wishes to thank Hosparus of Louisville and especially nurse Robin for their kind and loving care during this time. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to this wonder organization. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8pm and after 12 noon till time of service on Friday at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Services. His service will be at 2pm on Friday with burial in the Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
