Larry Dean Hoppe was born January 5, 1931 and passed away peacefully on April 7, 2017 in Caldwell, ID, at the age of 86. He was born in Los Angeles to Annette and Arthur Hoppe. Larry graduated from John Marshall High School and enlisted in the Navy where he became the Chief Cook on an LST in the Korean conflict. Following the Navy, he graduated from USC where he was affiliated with Phi Delta Theta. Along with his brother Ken, they operated the family businesses, the A. D. Hoppe Company (lathing and plastering) and the Sound Control Company (acoustical tile). Larry leaves behind his wife Judith and their children Victoria and William along with his brothers Richard Hoppe and Mark Hoppe and nephew Gary Hoppe and niece Linda Charpentier. Kenneth Hoppe predeceased him in 1989. Services were private.
