LARRY ALDON "BEAR" HILL, 68, of Burnaugh, Ky., passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. He was born January 4, 1948, in Madison, W.Va., a son of Oma L. Hill and the late Edward C. Hill. He was a lifelong truck driver, retiring from Conrad Produce, and had worked for Usher Transport. He was a member of the Durbin Nazarene Church and a member of the Lions Club in Burnaugh. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joann Hill; children, Cindy (Tim) Parsons, Scott (Valerie) Hill and Kevin (Jessica) Hill; grandchildren, Landon, Lacyn, Ryan, Abbi and Braxton (due in January). Larry is also survived by his siblings, Gary (Carolyn) Hill, Judy Murphy, Jeanne (Charles) Wagner, Eddy Hill and Lisa (Rick) Black. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; a special nephew, Mikey Black; special friends, Janet Miller, Bill and Carol Chapman, Mike and Jo Amos, Tony Rankin, Dennis Gibson, brother-in-law, David Bowling, Hannah, Bailey and Howie Wilks; and numerous co-workers and neighborhood friends. Services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova, W.Va., by Mike Amos, his friend of 40 years. Burial will follow in Dock's Creek Cemetery.
