Kristie L. Wetherell-Wolever
Kristie L. Wetherell-Wolever, 38, of Newaygo, and formerly of Breckenridge, died Oct. 10, 2016 at her home. Kristie was born Feb. 13, 1978 to John and Dawn (Conrad) Wetherell of Breckenridge. She is survived by her parents; her children, Tomas Stebelton and Ryshelle Stebelton, Thomas Wolever Jr. (Eliz), David Wolever (Laura); grandchildren, Michael, Gabriel, Joshua, Tyler; and sisters, Faith LaCount (Thom) and Jamie Fowler (Tom). Kristie graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1996 and attended Grand Rapids Community College where she studied industrial maintenance technology. She was currently employed with Kelloggs in Grand Rapids and was a kind, loving mother and daughter. Those who knew her would share she was a free spirited woman with a passion for life. She enjoyed crafting, family and camp fires. Kristie also shared her father's passion for the Detroit Lions. She had a unique quality of life about herself that those who knew her and loved her embraced. From her fashion of clothes, her love of music to her thoughts on life, she was always herself in her thoughts and who she was as a person. Kristie's favorite quote was "I wish to say what I think and feel today, with the proviso that tomorrow, perhaps, I shall contradict it all." -Ernest Hemingway. She touched the lives of many people with her smile, generosity and her trademark sense of humor. Funeral services for Kristie will take place 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 W. Wheeler St. Kristie's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
