Greer, Kimberlee Joy Age 52, unexpectedly passed while vacationing with one of her best friends in Florida on Saturday, January 7, 2017. Kim is preceded in death by her father Richard Buckley, grandmother Beulah Hall, and step-brother Robert Taylor. She will be remembered by her children, Brittany (Bradley Corpe) Greer and Thomas (Megan Folkema) Greer, their father Anthony Greer, her grandson Bennett Corpe, her mother Dorothy (Anthony) Golicz, brother Tim Buckley, half-brother Richard "Bucky" Buckley, and step-siblings John Taylor, Nicole Golicz-Woodard and Paul Golicz. Kim was a true Michigander. She loved to go on spontaneous trips to various festivals and craft fairs. Kim felt at home on the water, especially on her boat "All Summer Long". She would enjoy the outdoors on Lake Michigan listening to her favorite musician, Kid Rock, while basking in the sun. She rarely missed a sunrise or sunset and has many pictures to prove it. When she wasn't relaxing by the water, Kim was dedicated to her 26 year career as the I.T. Manager for the US District Courts. She also thrived on spoiling her children and grandson. "Glamma" was a name she inherited and took pride in. She gleamed when talking about her family and friends who she loved to spend time with. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and shared her infectious laugh. A celebration of Kim's life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Reyers North Valley Chapel in Grand Rapids, with an hour of visitation prior beginning at 12pm. A pot luck luncheon will immediately follow service. More details at service. Please consider a memorial contribution in Kim's memory to the American Diabetes Association.
