Come and share your master's happiness!' Age 35, passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Thursday, March 10, 2016, while in the arms of his wife and surrounded by his loving family. Kevin fought a courageous battle against brain cancer over the last two years with incredible community support; he was #SikkemaStrong. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 11 years, Amy Sikkema (Barnhard); their sons, Brayden(9) and Easton(3); their daughter, Morgan(1); his parents, Keith and Rose Sikkema; his siblings, Sheri (Neil) Rogers, Jill (Rich) Francisco, Brian (Tina) Sikkema; Amy's parents, Doug (Wanda) Barnhard, Esther (Brian) Kaule; Amy's sisters, Mandie Jarrell, Angela (Jose) Mora, Aleasha (Trevin) Wyma; Amy's grandma, Sylvia Barnhard; and many relatives, friends and supporters. Kevin was raised in Grandville, MI, where he graduated from Tri-unity High school. Kevin was a dedicated hockey player and loved being outdoors on his dirt bikes and four wheelers. October 16, 2004, Kevin married the love of his life, Amy. They settled into their home in Jenison, MI, in 2007 where they have made many beautiful memories raising their three children. Kevin was a hardworking man and always willing to lend a hand with a smile on his face. He was a long time employee at CB Greenhouses where much of his creative handiwork can be found. Kevin had a servant heart and was always ready for a call from Georgetown and Blendon Fire Departments. He had over 12 years in service to his community. Kevin felt the true presence of the Lord when he was surrounded by nature and the great outdoors. He had a passion for hunting (dat tirty point buck) and making memories with Brayden on the family property, "Camp Fuzzy". Restoring old tractors was a favorite pass time and his John Deere B was his favorite toy. The Sikkema family are members at Evergreen Ministries in Hudsonville.
